Improve the level of travel services during the Spring Festival travel period to ensure smooth transportation of important production and living materials. On that day, the city sent a total of 42,600 road and waterway passengers, 17 law enforcement vehicles and more than 70 traffic law enforcement officers.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Transportation Bureau, this year’s Spring Festival transportation mainly presents “five characteristics”, namely, the heavy task of epidemic prevention and control in transportation links; the expected increase in passenger flow during the Spring Festival transportation; the flow of students, migrant workers, and family visits at staggered peaks; highways There is a lot of pressure to ensure smooth transportation; the transportation safety situation is still grim.
In order to do a good job of this year’s Spring Festival transportation work, the Municipal Transportation Bureau has established a Spring Festival transportation work leading group, requiring the transportation departments at all levels and the units directly under the bureau to formulate the 2022 transportation Spring Festival transportation work plan in accordance with the actual situation of the region and the department, and refine the actual situation. Various measures such as Spring Festival travel and normalized epidemic prevention and control have been implemented, and various tasks of ensuring prevention and control, safety, smooth flow, and transportation have been implemented.
At the same time, the competent transportation departments at all levels and the units directly under the bureau are required to be strictly on duty, implement a 24-hour on-duty and leadership-led shift system, earnestly keep records on duty, ensure the smooth flow of information and communication channels, and fully grasp the production and stable operation of road and waterway transportation during the Spring Festival. to properly deal with road and waterway emergencies and major problems, and timely report information on clustered epidemics, emergencies during Spring Festival travel, and major events.
During the Spring Festival, the city organized a total of 2,439 passenger shuttles (including 479 tourist buses), 1,020 buses, 1,800 taxis, and 52 passenger ships to participate in the Spring Festival transportation. There are 62 passenger transport enterprises and 239 freight (professional transport) enterprises in the city, and 84 emergency vehicles have been implemented. Among them, 43 passenger cars and 41 trucks (including 13 flatbed trucks and 7 dangerous trucks) ensure sufficient emergency transportation capacity during the Spring Festival travel period and are on standby 24 hours a day. In terms of water transportation, on January 17, the Municipal Maritime Safety Administration launched the 2022 Spring Festival passenger ferry safety supervision and life jacket distribution operation, marking the beginning of the city’s passenger ferry safety supervision during the Spring Festival.
It is understood that the city’s port coastline is rich, and there are many passenger ferry routes. Passenger ferry transportation is an important part of the city’s public transportation construction and the construction of Ningde’s “four good” rural roads. In addition, during the Spring Festival, there is a large flow of people, and ferry safety is the top priority for the implementation of water traffic safety supervision services.
During the Spring Festival in 2022, our city is expected to have 30,000 to 50,000 people traveling by water. Eight new passenger ferries have been dispatched, green channels have been opened, various ship registration procedures and crew assessments have been completed, and they are ready to be put into operation at any time to ensure the Spring Festival. In the next step, the Municipal Maritime Safety Administration will further strengthen the safety inspection of ships, make full use of VTS, CCTV, AIS and other informatization means to track and control 40 ships in 34 ferry ports of 30 passenger ferry routes in the jurisdiction, and cooperate with relevant departments to maintain the source.
