The Trento Festival stops in Milan among the students of the Leonardo da Vinci high school

A few decades have passed since the Leonardo da Vinci scientific high school in Milan was his school. The director of Sole 24 Ore, Radio24 and Radiocor, Fabio Tamburini, returned yesterday to meet the students who invited him to talk about the program of the Trento Economics Festival, organized by Gruppo 24 ORE and Trentino Marketing, and of which chairs the Scientific Committee. The Festival, entitled “Quo vadis? The dilemmas of our time” will be held from 23 to 26 May and yesterday was the fourth stop of the tour in schools and universities, after the University of Perugia, the CUOA Business School in Vicenza and the Bologna Business School. «I willingly accepted to come here, the relationship with the young generations is precious. In my time, however, we met in the Provincial Hall, which was an example of cutting-edge technology”, recalls Tamburini, while he speaks in the midst of more than a hundred boys who surround him, sitting on the floor, in the men’s gym. «Uncertainty doesn’t help kids your age, but it doesn’t help us adults either. The Festival will be an opportunity to delve deeper into everything that generates uncertainty”, explains the journalist. The first extraordinary uncertainty that Tamburini mentions refers to the geopolitical context marked by 60 wars. Quo vadis? it then becomes a question that concerns the lives of all of us. And then the work revolution, driven by artificial intelligence. Gradually energy, ecological transition, demography, inflation, healthcare and gender equality enter the story. As long as the space for questions opens up. How do I know if a news story is credible? What gives value to information? Are paper newspapers destined to disappear? Will artificial intelligence replace human work? Many questions, many answers and a memory of the high school years to say goodbye, when «the Italian teacher said study, study, study.
