The event will take place on Monday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m in his space bookstore (pedestrian street Vourvachi 3, below Korinthos near pl. Georgiou, tel.: 261 062 4916).

Him The Trivialist two of the creators of the social media pages “Tsitsipas Hooligans” and “Lanthimos Hooligans” will make a foreword, the journalist Panagiotis Markezinis and the copywriter Nikos Brovolos.

A few words about the book

What is the continent we call Europe?
When and how was its newest civilization founded?
What bright minds and what vicious personalities wrote its brightest pages and bloodiest chapters?

In this book we will answer all of the above and we will see European history as we have never seen it before. We’ll meet extravagantly crowned, scheming clerics and perverted monks. We will talk about shrewd merchants, conniving bankers, greedy seafarers and swashbuckling sailors.

We will see minorities oppressed, women abused, scientists tortured and artists inspired, while we read about paradoxical perceptions, spicy mysteries, gourmet recipes, sex scandals and deadly intrigues. But, above all, we will wonder about human nature, a nature capable of the greatest achievements and the worst disasters…

Europe in 11+1 stories. From the outbreak of the medieval plague, to the Florentine Renaissance.
From the Conquest of Constantinople, to the conquest of America and India. From the erotic customs of the Europeans, to the great artists of the High Renaissance.
From the Reformation, to the Witch Hunt and the Scientific Revolution.
From the magnificent Baroque, to the golden age of French absolutism and to an earthquake that shook the Europeans.

Society, economy, art, science, politics and all the events that shaped European culture, given with humor, and at the same time with essential seriousness and with love for man.

THE The Trivialist was born in Alexandroupolis, grew up in Athens and later exiled himself to England to study Political Science. In a crescendo of self-punishment, he went on to study European Culture and, finding that he could take a little more, decided to pursue his MA in Philosophy and Arts. In 2020, he started communicating his interests on social media, because, as he judged, daily comments from strangers were the most suitable for the stability of his mental health. At the same time, he visits schools and educational institutions to pass on to unsuspecting souls his passion for history and human culture. The book you hold in your hands is his first writing venture.
