The truth about imposing fees on livestock entry to benefit markets • Al Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture confirmed that rumors regarding imposing fees on sheep heads in livestock markets are incorrect.

This came in response to a video clip circulating on the social media platform, in which a person talks regarding the existence of fees imposed on the entry and exit of sheep heads to the forest area and the market.

Director of Markets and Slaughterhouses Department at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Makkah Region, Eng. Jamaan Al-Zahrani, said that the Ministry of Environment did not impose fees on sheep.

And he continued, but it is a fee from the operating company, which is a fee for downloading and uploading services, and it is not on the entire market, and does not affect the services of shoppers, but rather it is on the forest yard in which the sale is made to the jellaba who come with their sheep from outside the market
