The UAE records 8 earthquakes in southern Iran, the most powerful of which are two, measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The National Center of Meteorology in the Emirates recorded 8 earthquakes in southern Iran, which occurred between Friday evening and early Saturday morning.

The semi-official Iranian Tasnim news agency reported, “5 people were killed and 19 others were injured in the preliminary outcome of the earthquake that struck Hormozgan Province, southern Iran, at dawn today, Saturday, with a magnitude of 6.1 on the Richter scale.”

The center published a series of tweets about monitoring these earthquakes and their timing, which came as follows:

2- The stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network of the “National Center of Meteorology” recorded a strong earthquake 4.1 Degree – Richter in southern Iran at 23:28, corresponding to 01/07/2022 according to the local time of the United Arab Emirates.

3- The stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network of the “National Center of Meteorology” were recorded. strong earthquake 6.3 Degree – Richter in southern Iran at 01:32, corresponding to 07/02/2022 according to the local time of the UAE, where the earthquake was felt in different regions of the country and had no effect.

4- The stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network of the “National Center of Meteorology” recorded a strong earthquake 4.6 Degree – Richter in southern Iran at 02:43, corresponding to 02/07/2022 according to the local time of the UAE.
