The Union of Egyptians in Saudi Arabia: Cancellation of the authentication of car import papers in agreement with the consulate

Dr. Adel Hanafi, Vice President of the General Union of Egyptians in Saudi Arabia, confirmed that the certification of all special papers related to the import of cars from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been revoked, in agreement with the Egyptian Consulate, stressing that this step saves citizens a lot of money in addition to the time in quickly obtaining The Car.

He added, during an intervention with the media, Azza Mostafa, on the “Tahrir Hall” program, broadcast on Sada Al-Balad channel, that this step helps Egyptians to buy cars by saving huge amounts of money, as well as among the most prominent papers that were canceled from the certification of papers related to the invoice.

And Adel Hanafi explained that the Council of Ministers, when implementing a specific law, especially when it relates to citizens abroad, must hold discussion sessions with students to know the obstacles and work to solve them, then the law was presented.

He continued: There are many demands that officials must solve and help Egyptians in order to benefit from the car import law, explaining that the period specified for placing a deposit in the bank is very narrow and needs an additional period, because the citizen residing abroad transfers money to his family on an ongoing basis in Egypt.

And Adel Hanafi added that importing cars from European countries does not cost the citizen the costs he pays when buying a car in an Arab country.

Adel Hanafi confirmed that the most prominent demands that were put to her with the Minister of Immigration during her visit to the Kingdom were about importing cars from abroad, the most prominent of which is the cancellation of the specified period regarding the deposit, in addition to placing a ban on selling any car for a period of five years that is purchased from abroad.

Adel Hanafy explained that since the announcement of the car import law, 150 million dollars have been transferred from inside Egypt to abroad, as citizens and showroom owners want to buy cars from abroad.
