The Ukrainian authorities of Mariupol, a port city under Russian control since May 2022, denounced on Sunday the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom they described as an “international criminal”.

“International criminal Putin visited the occupied city of Mariupol” at night “probably so as not to see in daylight the city killed by his + liberation +”, wrote the City Council on his Telegram account, referring to the mandate of international arrest targeting the Russian President.
