The Warriors unveil their new iconic jersey, Steph Curry is on fire!

Moments eagerly awaited by fans each summer, the revelations of the new jerseys of each franchise provoke mixed reactions. The new Warriors tunic, on the other hand, seems to be unanimous, and received the warm approval of Stephen Curry!

The trend now extends to all sports or almost, and responds to an implacable economic logic. Equipment manufacturers compete in ingenuity to imagine new jerseys each season, including in the NBA. And if home and away outfits don’t usually undergo too many changes year after year, alternative ones very often call for change. Warriors fans know that.

The “Run TMC” jersey back to the Warriors, Curry hyped

A few days ago, Golden State revealed the “Statement Edition” design that its players will wear next year, and was receiving heavy criticism for this one. History to pass the pill more easily, the franchise did not wait long before unveiling another, namely the “Classic Edition”. The latter thus borrows a retro look… presented as it should be by the legend of the Dubs, Chris Mullin!

In order to satisfy long-time supporters, the Warriors therefore relied on the much-loved “Run TMC” era, during which the trio of Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullin entertained the Oakland public night after night. A jersey already brought up to date in 2016 for only a few matches, and which will therefore have the honor of releasing Stephen Curry next season… for his greatest joy!

Oh, they even put the old-school “C” on it! It’s all really hot. Run TMC! Mitch, Mully, Tim Hardaway.

Support also seems to be total among fans, delighted to see this golden era of the franchise once again in the spotlight. All that remains is for them to wish that this historical nod will also bring luck to their players on the courts of the league!

More than 30 years after the exploits of Run TMC, the Warriors will therefore wear the legendary jersey of the period in the coming months. A choice that visibly fills Stephen Curry, ready to honor Tim Hardaway & Co. in the best possible way on the pitch!
