Giorgos Theofanous is in the role of host and welcomes at the Pallas theater four leading creators, with whom he will stand “Antichrist”, in the eponymous series of performances, in which he will meet each one individually.
Specifically, Giorgos Theofanous will be opposite Stefanos Korkolis, Kostas Hatzis, Giorgos Katsaros and Thanasis Polykandriotis on the stage of the Pallas theater. The beginning will take place on Sunday, May 12, with the unique composer, pianist and performer Stefanos Korkolis.

In a presentation of the performances that took place in Pallas, George Theofanous, among the four composers, recalled with emotion the moments that unite them, the memories he has of each of them, which he shared with respect and love.
This is Stefanos Korkolis’ first meeting with Giorgos Theofanous on stage, even though they have known each other for 35 years, which is roughly the same length as both are in their Greek discography. Face to face the two creators, each at his piano, will remind us of their great hits that have moved us with great voices, opening the curtain of these seven unique musical performances.
On June 2 and 3, Giorgos Theofanous will meet with Kostas Hatzis. It was in 1991, when Kostas Hatzis met for the first time with Giorgos Theofanous at the POLYSOUND studio. Kostas Hatzis performed songs by Giorgos Hatzinassios, Yiannis Spanos and Marios Tokas, in a record work that left its mark and Giorgos Theofanous signed on as an arranger. On June 2 and 3 they will meet again, face to face, one at the piano and the other with his guitar, to offer us a musical journey through time.
George Theofanous’ relationship with George Katsaros began in the distant 1990, when the young Cypriot participated in the Thessaloniki Song Festival. Giorgos Katsaros presided at the time, together with musical “monsters” of the time, on the jury of the Festival. The orchestration of the young Cypriot’s song enchanted the president and the committee members, presenting him with the Orchestration Award. From the following year, Theofanous was placed among the official orchestrators of the festival. Thirty-four years later, the two composers will face each other piano – saxophone, on June 16 & 17.
Giorgos Theofanous first met Thanasis Polykandriotis back in 1990, when the then 22-year-old Giorgos took charge of the orchestra in a program with the big pop names of the time: Alexia, Dakis, Polina, Sofia Arvanitis. The popular program was undertaken by Thanasis Polykandriotis. There, George Theofanous, then newly arrived from America, first came into contact with folk song, which he may not have particularly appreciated, but which was to later mark his own course. At the Pallas Theatre, on June 30th and July 1st, the two will be together, piano facing the bouzouki.
The songs are performed by Akis Deiximos, Olga Venetsianou, Nikos Papoutsis, Sofia Manousaki, Prokopis Politis (Paco), Sofia Papoulakou, Christina Ralli and Daniella. The evenings are accompanied by orchestras of renowned musicians.
