There is no escape for Shamshera even in OT; The audience said it was a boring film
Ranbir Kapoor starrer Shamshera was the film that hit the theaters with high expectations. But in recent times, Shamshera was also caught up in the bad luck that hit Bollywood. Shamshera, which opened in theaters with mixed reactions, became Bollywood’s biggest flop in 2022.
A week after the release of the film, 90 percent of the theaters where the film was released were closed.
Now after the theater failure, Shamshera has reached OTT. The film has started streaming through Amazon Prime Video. The audience says that it is not possible to watch the film in OTT.
There are those who say that the film is a boring story and a tired cliché. Within hours of streaming, the film is getting poor reviews on OTT as well.

The film, which came with a budget of 150 crores, earned only about 60 crores from the theatres. Considering the theatrical failure of the film, the film was released earlier than scheduled. Earlier there were reports that T will be released.
Shamshera tells the story of a leader who lived in the 1800s and fought against the British. Vaani Kapoor played the heroine in the film.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is directed by Karan Malhotra. Shamshera was the sixth film of Yash Raj Films to fail at the theatres. Ranbir Kapoor’s next film is Brahmastra starring Alia Bhatt. The film, which is being prepared with an investment of 300 crores, will be released on September 9.
