TV Nova has revealed which of the Czech and Slovak celebrities will fight in Survivor 2024. Many are surprised that they don’t even know a good half of these “stars”.
Survivor 2024 star contestants confirmed! On Tuesday morning, Nova TV published the official list of participants from among Czech and Slovak celebrities. They will compete against “ordinary” contestants in the fight for the title of Survivor 2024.
Under the surveillance of the cameras, they will fight in harsh conditions for several weeks for immunity, food, rewards and, above all, to last as long as possible on the desert island. They will eliminate each other in thrilling tribal councils. Who will win the title and 2.5 million crowns?
Celebrities? Great expectations were not fulfilled
Moderator Ondřej Novotný promised before his departure that this year’s casting would be exceptionally strong. The audience was looking forward to really star names. There was even speculation about one of the most popular Czech actors, Jiří Langmajer. Unfortunately, this was not confirmed, so most people only know a few names from the celebrity team.
Viewers on social media are criticizing that instead of a celebrity tribe that will bear the name Titans, it is more of a “non-celebrity” tribe. “I know Jirešová and Ornella Koktová, here thanks to the exchange of wives. Otherwise, I really don’t know” wrote, for example, Daniela Tina Zábranská on Facebook, and she is definitely not alone. “Well, that didn’t really blow my mind,” viewer Anna Kučerová joins.

And who will make up the celebrity team that will fight for the Survivor 2024 title from February 27 on Voyo and March 5 on TV Nova?

22-year-old Rachel Karnižová is a 22-year-old fashion designer and influencer who has her own clothing brand. She became famous mainly for her participation in the reality show Love Island, where she made it to the finals with Claude. “I like fear, and Survivor is a little bit of fear for me,” says Rachel.
“Love Island taught me discipline. I know how filming works, that can be an advantage, even though it’s a completely different reality show.” says Karnižová, adding that she will be better able to get people on her side. “I believe in sports disciplines, I do a lot of strength and fitness training,” adds to his physique. However, Rachel suffered from a sun allergy on Love Island and the question is how she will cope with life outside in the hot sun practically all the time.

32-year-old Sebastián Navrátil is a singer and has his own band. He originally wanted to be a psychologist, so he believes this trait will help him deal with relationships on the island. “I will miss home, my mom, probably my girlfriend and my cats the most,” said Navrátil.
“Even though I don’t spend as much time with my mom and family, I will miss being able to at least check on them over the phone,” Sebastian thinks. “I will try to be who I am in real life. I’m a street kid, I’ve experienced a lot of uncomfortable situations. But my biggest fear is what will happen if I don’t eat for, say, seven days,” Navratil said.

Jakub Bína became famous as MC Jacob from the group Skyline. Recently, however, he is mainly known as a fitness trainer who helps people lose weight. A number of Czech celebrities also train with him, for example Kazma in the past. He himself says that he used to live in a typical rock style and did not take care of his body. However, he changed that drastically in recent years and sport became his life.
“I signed up for Survivor because I used to love the American version, but there was no way to sign up. And when it came to us, I knew I had to compete there one day.” he says. “I will miss my family and friends on the island. I will try to play through the game so that I don’t have to lie. But at the same time, I won’t let it get to my head and I certainly won’t give up,” adds Bína.

Thirty-year-old Ornella Koktová became famous mainly for the fact that she took over the significantly older husband Josef Koktová of star presenter Gabriela Partyšová. They immediately had a child together, today Ornella and Kokta have three of them together, and she threw herself into business through Instagram. Some time ago, she and her husband also took part in the reality show Wife Swap.
“I came to enjoy an adventure, which I haven’t really enjoyed before, because I had children right away when I was young,” says Ornella Koktová. “I think my trump card is that a lot of people think I’m made of sugar, but I’m not,” she added, saying that she will miss her family and food the most on the island. At home, the husband was left alone to do everything and take care of three small children. “But he wishes me that, because he’s glad I’ll rebel and not drag him down any roads,” says Ornella. “What scares me the most is the lack of toilet paper and the sadness of the children,” she said.

30-year-old Vietnamese Yenifer is an influencer, actress and yoga teacher. “My ace up my sleeve is that I look cute, but not many people know the other side of me. I think I am a friendly and honest person, but only to people who are friendly and honest to me,” says Yenifer.
“I’ve already heard here that many people think I’m nice, cute, and that’s exactly what I’m playing for,” he adds that in discomfort and hunger she can be expected to be very unpleasant.

29-year-old Martin Prágr is a professional dancer who excelled, for example, in StarDance 2023, where just before the finale he led the presenter Iva Kubelková and thus formed one of the most popular couples. “I have been dancing since I was six years old. I go to Survivor to learn my limits and also to make new friends,” says Prágr. He believes that as a dancer he could be well prepared physically for the competition.
“I also go to the competition to find out how strong I am in the social game,” he adds. “If I win Survivor, I’ll fly to Africa to dance with the kids, it’s my last unfulfilled dream,” mentioned Prágr. At the same time, he revealed that he does not look for conflicts, but when they do occur, he is explosive. We probably have something to look forward to.

47-year-old Ivana Jirešová is a famous Czech actress, who was loved by the audience, among other things, in the role of a barmaid in the series Ordinace v Růžová žrádena, but also in many other series and films. “Survivor is a challenge for me because I think we live in a somewhat spoiled world,” says actress Ivana Jirešová.
Her marriage to the now-deceased tabloid editor-in-chief Ondřej Höppner, with whom she fought for her daughter Sophia, was highly watched. “I will miss all my family, my pillow, my bed and my fruit,” Jirešová thinks. She added that she would like to play a completely straight game. “I have a problem with notorious liars who knowingly cause harm.
I hate conflicts, I completely avoid them,” added Jirešová. Whether this is a good tactic will be seen in a few weeks. “I believe in games like monkey track where agility is needed. On the contrary, where strength is needed, I don’t trust myself too much,” pointed out Jirešová. “When I’m not well, I always sleep off it. That’s why I will sleep as much as possible to get in shape and help the team,” said Jirešová.

He produces music, plays tennis and likes to go to the sauna. “I signed up for Survivor 2024 because I want to go beyond my comfort zone and take a break from my phone,” comments Martin Carev on his participation.
“I generally get along with people, my strategy is to get along with people and not have a target on my back as a strong or weak player,” Tsarev added. “The advantage is that I learned not to tell people everything right away and to keep my mouth shut. I will try to resolve conflicts by not raising my voice and barking at someone,” added Tsarev.

Thirty-two-year-old Denisa Dvořáková is a Czech top model who won the world final of the Elite Model Look competition in 2006 and has 23 thousand followers on Instagram. “It’s a big challenge for me and I would regret it if I refused,” says the model. “I think I’m a very calm person, I can be good at sports and I have hidden tactics ready,” says Dvořáková.

“My strategy will be to survive and outplay, as Ondra Novotný says. I’m going to have to make some allies, I have to choose them carefully. I am an extrovert and social person,” stated Krejdlová.

This year it is 34-year-old Samuel Krištofič from Bratislava. “I spend my free time with sports and family. Survivor is a big challenge for me. The fact that I am a professional wrestler can also be an advantage for me, I work a lot with weights, I can gain weight and lose weight, I can keep fasts,” says Krištofič, who will miss his wife and daughter the most on the island. And strategy? “I need to get to know the people I’m going to be in the tribe with and find out what the history of their relationships is,” he added.

29-year-old Martin Mikyska is a Youtuber who goes by the nickname Mikýř. He became famous for videos where he parodies various controversial influencers, who often rob their child viewers by selling strange products or financial services. “I entered Survivor to prove to everyone that I can tan. I will miss my dachshund and my girlfriend the most.” Mikýř said with his typical humor.
“My strategy is to eat food at night, maybe even hide it somewhere. I’m going to cause a lot of evil there and I’m afraid that my true self will come out there. I’m going to drive everyone crazy there,” he added. At the same time, he realizes that his activities, when he draws attention to the iniquities of influencers, may not be liked by all Castaway participants. “I don’t mind the discomfort, I also don’t shower and brush my teeth in real life,” Mikyska added with a serious face.

Jack Hamid, 46, was born in Cairo. His father was an international diplomat and his mother a successful pharmaceutical entrepreneur. The sister is a professor at Cairo University and the brother works as a pilot. Thanks to this, Jack had a tough upbringing and also went to an army school, from which he says he brings experience to the competition.
Jack is divorced and has a four-year-old son. He would like to show Tom that his dad is a hero. He has been living in the Czech Republic for 15 years and has made a living as a manager of five-star hotels for many years. He joined Survivor to find himself and true friends. He likes attention and is capable of doing anything to get it. He says about himself that he will arouse emotions in the competition.

33-year-old Michael Skalický has been an opera singer for thirteen years, and also runs two pubs in Prague. According to his words, he was bullied in elementary school because he was a red-haired singing boy with a distinctive and inaudible voice.
He comes from a divorced marriage and was raised primarily by his mother. He had a complicated relationship with his father due to his coming out, but now they are trying to get along. By participating in the competition, he would like to prove to him that he is not weak or effeminate and that even as a gay man he can be a real man.

23-year-old student Veronika Sandholzová won the title of Miss Sympathy in 2021. She comes from a divorced marriage and until last year she was taking care of her younger sister, who took her parents’ divorce hard.
She unsuccessfully applied to Survivor last year, since then she has been working hard on herself. In the competition, she intends to use all her weapons to the fullest in order to gain the trust of other people. He is not afraid to use lies, bend information to his advantage and form secret alliances on multiple sides.
