A student entered armed to the Faculty of Agronomy of the National University of Tucumán (UNT) and threatened to shoot his classmates and teachers. The event occurred last Friday, when the attacker was arrested, but it was learned this Monday after a meeting was called at the educational establishment.
The student was identified as Martin Francisco Villafane, who appeared with a revolver at the UTN Agricultural Fifth. Later he was subdued by police officers who, although they could not locate the weapon, found nine-millimeter bullets that were distributed in three different envelopes.

According to the local media, a witness indicated that Villafañe began to threaten his colleagues with real data. “I already know where you live, I already know your document number, your address, who do you live with. The bum is sick,” said one of the students.
In addition, he commented that this is not the first time that the young man, accused of “simple threats”, has carried out an action of this type: “He had already threatened the English teacher last year and now to Biometrics”.
Among the projectiles authorities found, two bullets were intended for teachers and another to the Board of Directors of the university. The case was left in the hands of prosecutor Diego Hevia, head of the Prosecutor Unit for Attacks against Persons, who determined that Villafañe serve 30 days of pretrial detention while performing a series of tests.
The objective of the judicial official is to verify the imputability or not of the defendant to know how the case will progress. Meanwhile, the young man will remain hospitalized at the Juan Manuel Obarrio Mental Health Hospital.
In their social networks, the student usually share images of guns and knives. “It has arrived, master,” she wrote in a photo where she was showing when he received a revolver in his box, and then showed a photo of the weapon and a knife next to the notes of one of the subjects he is studying.
Another of the photographs that caught the attention of the researchers are those that record that Villafañe attends target practice.
This event is added to another that occurred at the Technical School No. 1 in the Tucuman town of Lules. There, a teacher was accused of hang a sixth year student in the middle of class until he was knocked unconscious.
Also, recently a 16 year old teenager was arrested in the Buenos Aires town of Martínez after sending bomb threat emails to more than a dozen schools in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (BOTH). After a raid, it was found that he had an arsenal in his house, but in this case the weapons were legally registered in the name of his father.
