The artist, Menna Fadali, said during her earlier meeting with the “Long Live Al-Satat” program on Al-Nahar channel, that she married him secretly out of respect for her mother, and also out of respect for his request because of his son, adding that the marriage ended after only 6 months.
And Menna continued, “We are friends now, but we separated because of his extreme jealousy of me and his objection to my clothes and my continuation in acting, and we quarreled a lot.”
She explained that the marriage did not last long, for several reasons, the most important of which was her family’s refusal and her mother’s boycott of her after she learned of the news of her marriage, and that he beat her once, and this is the reason for the separation between them.
For his part, her husband, Muhammad Dia El-Din, said at the time that the duration of the marriage did not exceed a year, denying the rumors launched by Menna Fadali that he was deliberately beating and harassing her, so the separation came between them, stressing that he has evidence for what he says through the conversations that took place between them.
He continued by saying that he did not like to talk about this matter, especially since the marriage had been going on for several years, but Menna Fadali’s false statements and the rumors that were launched against him made him break his silence and reveal the matter, noting that he contacted “Mena” later and asked her about the reason for her claim in One of the programs replied that she was forced to say this.
Muhammad Dia concluded that he married Mina according to a contract and two witnesses, because he rejects any forbidden relationship, as he wants to put the relationship within the framework of a legal marriage, noting that he separated from her because of his inability to coexist with her personality.
