A new act of violence was experienced this Saturday morning on the Santo Tomé waterfront. Mayor Emilio Jatón suffered the theft of his slippers.
While running through the neighboring city, the official was intercepted and held up at gunpoint. The thief took his sneakers but did not cause any damage.
The event took place in less than a minute and without violence involved.
