They decided to get rid of the house of the greatest boxer of all time

The owners of the mansion of the greatest boxer of all time, Muhammad Ali, decided to get rid of the house. His properties in Los Angeles were put up for auction for $13.5 million, writes New York Post (NYP).

The athlete lived in this house from 1979 to 1984, being at the peak of his career. The estate of Ali, who called himself only the Greatest, is located in the Hancock Park area and occupies more than 975 square meters. Many celebrities have seen its walls, including actors Sylvester Stallone, Clint Eastwood and former US President Barack Obama.

A stone staircase leads to the entrance to the estate. In the interior, marble is combined with dark wood. The rooms are decorated with crystal chandeliers and antique stained glass windows – the house was built in 1915, and the owners have preserved the original decorative items. A semicircular terrace adjoins the mansion. The 0.6-hectare plot also includes a guest house with a spacious five-car garage. There is a swimming pool hidden behind a hedge.

Earlier it became known about the future of the former mansions of another iconic boxer – Mike Tyson. Their current owners decided to open a church and a nursing home there.
