Unknown persons throw stones at vehicles to make them stop and strip drivers of their belongings.
Drivers denounced that subjects are dedicated to throwing stones at vehicles to steal them on Los Trabajadores avenue, in Puerto Ordaz.
One of those affected reported that on Tuesday, September 27, at approximately 7:00 pm, he arrived in Puerto Ordaz from El Tigre, Anzoátegui state.
At the height of the Sisor distributor, the windshield was hit by a large stone that broke the glass, forcing him to stop meters ahead.
Due to the same action, two other cars were affected in the same section. “If I went with someone it would have been fatal,” they commented.
Those affected reported to the authorities, who went to the place but did not locate the criminals.
The drivers expressed that the men take advantage of the fact that there are sections without lighting or it is intermittent to force them to stop and strip them of their belongings.
It is not the first time that citizens raise their voices for this type of action, which is recurrent in that road artery in different sections.
