The body of a person was found this Tuesday in Santa Fe, inside a car that was on fire on the side of the Rosario-Córdoba highway, in the Ludueña stream ravine. The cause of death is under investigation, although it is ruled out that it was an accident, authorities said.
A witness approached the vehicle engulfed in flames, a Volkswagen Suran, and verified that there was a body inside, so he immediately called the authorities.
Now, investigators are trying to clarify the causes of death and also the origin of the fire, given that prosecutor María Teresa Granato stated in statements to the press that “an accident is ruled out”, although a priori, the body showed no signs. of violence.
Personnel from the Funes Radioelectric Command and the Rosario Criminal Investigation Agency participated in the rescue operation.
According to a report from the Santa Fe Public Security Observatory, so far this year, 228 homicides have already been recorded in the city of Rosario, one of the most violent in the entire country.
