Dakahlia Governorate in Egypt witnessed a heinous crime, where a couple locked their twin girls at home alone and left them to starve to death after screaming for two consecutive days.
For two consecutive days, the screaming sound from one of the apartments in Mansoura city, which made the neighbors try to reach the owners of the apartment or enter it. But it was impossible to break into the apartment because there was a lock on the apartment door. As the neighbors despaired of reaching the owners of the apartment and the children’s screaming continued, they reported the incident to the security services.

And the security services moved to the apartment and broke its door to find two girls, no more than two years old, in severe fatigue, so they were taken to the hospital to try to save them.
The neighbors explained to the security services that they heard the screaming of the two girls continuously for two days and tried to enter the apartment to save them, but the door was locked with an iron lock.
After investigations by the security services, it was found that the two girls are twins, and their 33-year-old father works as a “worker” and he and his wife live in the apartment, and a dispute broke out between the spouses that developed into a quarrel.So, they both left the apartment and locked it with a padlock.
The security services managed to arrest the father He was charged with negligence And the attempt to kill the two girls and endanger their lives, and he confessed to his crime, but he also blamed the mother.
Investigations are currently searching for the mother. The two children were handed over to their aunt for their care.
