They investigate the atrocious case of two children who were found in a car next to two corpses

A case filed in North Carolina has shocked the community, after they found a couple of children exposed to low temperatures inside a car along with two people who had died with gunshots. The authorities are investigating the details of the events.

According to local media reports, The car with the children and the two bodies was found around 6 in the morning by a group of employees who came to work at a local construction company. They spotted a suspicious vehicle in the workers’ parking lot, so they went to check and realized the scene.

So then, authorities from the Rocky Mount Police Department attended the scene where they found the two little ones, that although they did not detail their age, they did affirm that they were of “walking age”, as well as indicating that they had been subjected to low temperatures, for which reason they were almost frozen and were rushed to a medical center.

Regarding the two people found dead with bullet wounds, the authorities reported that one of them was the mother of the children, Destiny Wiggins, 24, and the other person was a 28-year-old man, identified as Devone Brownalthough it is not yet known what was the link of the latter with the family.

So far the nature of the event has not been identified, so it is not known if it was a homicide and the authorities are investigating the fact to find out what happened. Meanwhile, relatives of the minors have already been alerted and are taking care of the children at the local hospital where they reside.

“It is still too early to tell. It is an investigation in development, it is still active at this moment”, were the words of the local police officer, Robert Hassell, stating that it is not known if it was a premeditated event.

Preschool teacher dies after shooting

Ana Estevez, a 23-year-old teacher who taught at the Nurtury Montessori School in Fort Lauderdale, died after being shot Sunday night while driving on Interstate 95 in Broward County, according to a family friend.

Fire personnel took her to the Broward Health Medical Center and according to an update from the Broward Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, she was in critical condition.

“Ana and her boyfriend Michael had traveled to North Carolina, and On the way home, a white BMW hit them from the side and before they could stop, the unknown man shot Estevez.” Paula Ulerio wrote on a GoFundMe fundraising page.

Estevez, who was also a student at Florida Atlantic University and cared for both his mother and grandmother, was driving a Nissan Sentra southbound near Broward Boulevard.

Detectives released a sketch of the suspect who was in a white BMW. They believe he was also involved in another shooting on I-95, between Atlantic Boulevard and Sample Road.

As of now, the investigation is ongoing and detectives are asking anyone with information on the case to call Broward County Crime Stoppers.
