To the regional military commissariat on the street. Tyulenin, since the morning of Friday, September 23, people who have received a summons in connection with partial mobilization have been coming. Conscripts and their relatives shared their experiences with the Klops correspondent.

Kaliningrad Irina (name changed at the request of the interlocutor “Klops”) hugs her son and says that the summons came on September 22.

“I don’t know what the urgency is. Nobody has any information. They say that they will be on mob training. As I understand it, in any case, they should have a military medical commission, some preparatory measures. My son had military service 6 years ago. What is the combat experience? It is not clear – someone is called, someone is not, ”complains Irina.

Ekaterina (name changed), whose husband also received a summons, is unable to hold back her tears: “My husband is 44 years old, he has long been just a conscript, now he works as a driver.”

The woman admits that she found the summons this morning in the mailbox, but has not yet informed her husband about the discovery. Came here to figure it out.

“We came from Kazakhstan three years ago. When citizenship was changed, the spouse passed a medical examination, got registered. The military ticket says that it is partially fit. The military commissariat on duty said that he was fit, that the age category was normal, ”says Ekaterina.

The 38-year-old reserve officer Alexei did not receive a summons, he asked if he was under mobilization.

“I didn’t serve, but I have four years of a naval department. If they call – let’s go, if they don’t call – we won’t go. Someone has to protect the country. It’s better to let the older ones go. People are worried, this is understandable, ”the interlocutor shrugs his shoulders.

The man says that he is not going to hide, but wants to get information for personal peace of mind: “I called the regional military registration and enlistment office, called my university to find out if they were calling. You need to understand how to proceed. I’ve come here, I’m waiting.”

46-year-old Oleg took out a summons from the mailbox today.

“I am a former soldier of the Marine Corps, an airborne assault battalion, a military pensioner. Served 26 years. I have two ulcers, had surgery on my spine. If I put on a bulletproof vest, I can’t feel my legs for a couple of hours. I understand that this is the Motherland, but I think that you need to take healthy men, ”says the Kaliningrader.

Two and a half years ago, Oleg wanted to extend his contract, but he could not pass the military medical commission. Resigned.

“They call and say that my combat experience is indicated in my personal file. Once, in the year 2000, I was sent to guard the commander – that’s all my combat experience. But in general, I’m ready, it would be healthy, ”says the man.

52-year-old Elena dreamed of becoming a volunteer, despite the absence of a military ID and a military specialty: “But they said that women are not called up. I’m ready, but they haven’t taken me yet. We have to defend our country.”

Closer to noon, some of those who received the summons went to the gathering place. Irina accompanied her son to the bus.

“Probably, on the one hand, and it’s right that they don’t tell all the information. They said that they were taken to the unit, ”the woman says goodbye.
