Apparently, The crystal clear water is home to the mythological legend of “Nahuelito”a strange creature, a supposed aquatic monster similar to a dinosaur that lives in the depths of the lake and from time to time is seen on the surface.
Two young people were going to go into the lake, when suddenly they noticed something that caught their attention. They filmed it with a phone and the video quickly went viral on the networks.

“We were at the lake and suddenly something began to be noticed in the lake and we started recording. We stayed away because we didn’t know what it was, but it was something that was moving forward,” said Manuel, the 23-year-old boy who filmed the scene, in dialogue with LMNeuquén.
On several occasions, local residents and tourists reported various sightings and even presented evidence. Now, it happened again: two young people who were walking in the area noticed an unusual movement on the surface of the water and decided to record it.
Although at first they distanced themselves as a precaution and because they did not know what it was, the suspicion that it was the mythical monster appeared in their minds: “I don’t know what it was, I can’t specify it, but It was quite big”he added.
In the images that can be seen in the video, you can distinguish the presence of a huge figure that moves over the water and that only part of itself can be seen on the surface. “Not even a boat passes by, if it were a wave it would have to reach here. Is rare”the young man can be heard saying in the video that captured the incredible moment.
“They are not waves caused by the wind because otherwise they would have been noticed where we were,” the local tourists explained, in turn. “A moment later it was no longer seen. He submerged and we didn’t see him again.. I think what happened is not very strange, but hey, there can be strange things underwater that you never know,” Manuel concluded.
