‘They were DGP’: Sidhu’s wife against Amarinder’s friend, a Pakistani woman

Chandigarh: Former Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh’s friend, Pakistani journalist Arvind Alam, has been criticized by Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife and former MLA Navjot Kaur. Navjot Kaur alleged that Arusa Alam acted like the Punjab DGP when Amarinder Singh was the chief minister.

‘No appointment has been made in the Punjab Police without the permission of Roshan, son of Arusa. They took all the money bought as bribe to Pakistan. Some money was also given to Roshan Amarinder. With this, Amarinder used to buy gifts for Aroosa. – Navjot Kaur said.

Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Friday said the government had ordered an inquiry into whether Aroosa had links with the Pakistani spy agency ISI. It was after this that Navjot Kaur came on the scene with harsh criticism.

Meanwhile, Amarinder’s media adviser Raveen Thukral shared a picture of Aroza shaking hands with Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Twitter. But Randhawa said that this is an old film and that he has never seen Arusa in person. This is an international issue. Not one at the state level. Randhawa added that there would be an inquiry.
