The Finnish company Ouca, founded by Jani Sipilä, will take the opportunity to exhibit its latest project in this area, the Ouca Bikes, tells us eBikeNews. This electric cargo bike aims to reach both a professional target and the general public.

The Ouca Bikes was designed for transporting goods, tools and people. Three versions have been developed, each benefiting from small adjustments to adapt to its use. The Ouca Space, for example, has a huge cargo space placed at the front of the bike and supported by two wheels – this is the principle of the scooter.

Up to 870 liters

This hold, with an initial capacity of 570 litres, can accommodate a cover increasing its space to 870 liters in order to accommodate a large quantity of goods to be delivered to a customer. The cover also protects everything in the event of bad weather. This is not the case with the Ouca Transport, the second version of this VAE.

This model is primarily used to transport all kinds of tools and other bulky objects, for use more focused on professionals. The Ouca Transport does not forget private individuals, however, since seats for an adult and three children, or four children in total, can be installed in the front.

The maximum load capacity of the vehicle reaches 180 kg, supplemented by an optional rear rack which adds 75 kg of capacity.

A mid-engine automatic transmission

Finally, the Ouca Kiddiebus is mainly intended for transporting people: up to eight children – also a maximum load capacity of 180 kg – can sit on board. This model could be of interest to large families as well as child care services and parents picking up several children from school.

To bring the necessary power to its cycle, Ouca installed the central engine Revonte One equipped with an automatic transmission controllable via a mobile application. The idea being that the bike adapts to your pedaling and the type of terrain to provide you with the most optimal electric assistance possible. The torque of the system reaches 90 Nm.

As of this writing, no launch date or pricing has been announced. It is not known if the Ouca Bikes will be marketed in France.
