Judgment in the police violence case in Kongsberg

The case in which a policeman is charged with grievous bodily harm and grossly negligent breach of duty after he committed violence against Kevin Simensen in Kongsberg on the night of 30 November 2022, was heard in the Borgarting Court of Appeal at the beginning of April.

The verdict will come on Tuesday. This was stated by the court and the defendant’s defender John Christian Elden to NTB on Monday. The prosecutor has submitted a request for 60 days of unconditional imprisonment.
