Following the death of Tina Turner at age 83, tributes for the musical superstar were not long in coming. Rock stars, actors and athletes mourned the artist’s death on Tuesday at her home in Küsnacht, Switzerland.
“I am so saddened by the passing of my wonderful friend Tina Turner. She was truly an enormously talented performer and singer. She was inspiring, warm, funny, and generous. She helped me a lot when I was young and I will never forget her,” said iconic Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger on Instagram. Turner shared the stage with Jagger during a concert in 1985 and toured with the band in the ’60s.
