There is now a major update for WhatsApp in the iTunes App Store, like “WABetaInfo” discovered.. With the current version number 24.6.77, messenger users are able to record and send video messages directly in chats. This is done simply by long-pressing the camera symbol next to the input field in the chat. Another innovation is the Introducing the fast forward function: Users can now fast forward or rewind by double-tapping on the edge of a video.
The update also brings a visual refresh to the attachments area in the chat and ensures more reliable performance of the app with the usual bug fixes and improvements. The prerequisite for installing the update is an iPhone with iOS 12.0 or higher. Users can update directly in the App Store.
