This golf cart could sell for tens of thousands of dollars. She was used to transport the Queen of England.
This week, a golf cart was offered for auction by Iconic Auctioneers. As reported by the English newspaper The Sunthis little device could be worth more than 28,000 euro. In any case, this is the estimate given by this auction specialist.
However, this value is much higher than the average golf cart. In general, they are worth between 5,000 and 7,000 euros. Of course, some models exceed the 10,000 euro mark. But, the fact remains that the copy sold here is much more expensive than the others. It hides, in reality, some characteristics that increase its value.
A golf cart at an exorbitant price
This device is actually a deluxe version of a golf cart. She was specifically designed last year to carry Queen Elizabeth II. The former monarch was due to attend the Chelsea Flower Show, one of the most famous horticultural events in the world.
The cart was only very little used by the Queen of England during the event. She had only been seen aboard this craft twice on this occasion. The cart was not reused after the exhibition. But, this connection with Queen Elilzabeth II was enough to make it expensive from a collector’s point of view.
