With millions of players around the world diving back into the annual Call of Duty grind, it’s that time of year when everyone is looking to get ahead. Whether it’s through brilliant gameplay tactics or higher-level classes, players are always looking for the initial advantage.
Just days after launch, CoD content creator ‘FourEyes’ may have discovered the most powerful Assault Rifle class yet. One that relies on a crucial change to a setting hidden in the game’s menus.

If you want to dominate Modern Warfare 3, at least until possible nerfs slow your momentum, this is the DG-58 class you need to dominate the scoreboards in every lobby.
Modern Warfare 3’s ‘game-breaking’ Assault Rifle “Loadout” class
Described as “the most broken, overpowered weapon” CoD has seen in years, the YouTuber explains how they turned a mediocre burst weapon into what is perhaps Modern Warfare 3’s best choice.
By selecting the DG-58 Assault Rifle, they transform this three-round burst weapon into what is effectively a fully automatic AR with a simple adjustment in the menus.

Simply go to the game settings and navigate to your input method, either Keyboard & Mouse or Controller. From there, go to the Gameplay column, scroll down to Combat Behaviors, then enter the Advanced Combat Settings screen. There you will see the option ‘Manual Shooting Behavior’. Change this to the ‘Hold’ option to perform the trick.

Now, when using a burst weapon of any type, simply holding the trigger will continually fire bullets from the weapon. This means you can instead focus your attention on being more accurate, instead of having to manually time your shots.
