This new life simulation game comes with real arguments! The funny thing about the story is that its creators are known for creating one of the most popular Battle Royale games.
In the world of life simulations, the famous license “The Sims” from Electronic Arts has remained at the top of the podium for many years. But another game could well overshadow it: its name, InZoideveloped by Krafton, the creators of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
Announced during G-STAR 2023, the biggest video game event in South Korea, the title is set to face The Sims 5”. In development for a year, InZoi relies more or less on the same system as its competitors, “The Sims 4” and “Animal Crossing: New Horizons”, but with a detail that can make all the difference: its technique. The many possibilities of the game
The game, developed under Unreal Engine 5, allows all fantasies. If the player wants to go to school or work, make friends (and enemies), get into a relationship, take music lessons, it’s possible. Life simulation also gives the possibility of controlling everythingwhether it’s your city, the weather or small details like the opening hours of a store – thanks to the “director mode” present in the interface. Of course, it is also possible to control your own character. For example, if you are late for work, it is possible to take the metro instead of walking there – something that is not possible in “The Sims”. These are not the only actions present in InZoi. During a big moment in the player’s life, there are cutscenes that trigger to celebrate them. It is even possible to lip synchronize using a QR code and an application – a good way to create numerous reactions to give a unique flavor to your story.
