The Provincial Electoral Court called for this Tuesday the authorities elected in Córdoba in the last elections on June 25 to a proclamation ceremony at the Teatro del Libertador General San Martín, from 5:45 p.m. In this event, the future governor, Mayor Martín Llaryora, together with Vice Governor Myrian Prunotto, legislators and tribunes will receive the enabling certificates.
The 70 provincial legislators who will occupy a seat in the Unicameral of Córdoba, as well as the members of the Provincial Court of Accounts, will also receive the diplomas in the same ceremony.
To carry out this event, the Provincial Electoral Court has already issued invitations to the elected authorities and a work protocol has been established. The media, whether journalists, photographers and cameramen, must be accredited in advance and enter the venue 15 minutes before the event starts.
It was also requested that the previously assigned places be respected and in silence. Another of the established requirements will be to “avoid behaviors that hinder the development of the event, such as speaking loudly, occupying circulation spaces and having the cell phone on sound.”
Regarding the interviews with the elected authorities by the media, it was arranged that they be carried out before or after the end of the proclamation ceremony, in which the diplomas for access to positions will be delivered.
In addition to Llaryora and Prunotto, the 33 legislators of Hacemos Unidos por Córdoba will pass through the Teatro del Libertador General San Martín, such as the vice-governor and elected parliamentarian, Manuel Calvo; and the ministers who will have seats in the Unicameral, such as Claudia Martínez, Julián López, Ricardo Sosa, Laura Jure and Paulo Cassinerio.
On the other hand, there will be 24 mayors who finish their terms this year and who will receive their diplomas as legislators: 10 are current communal heads of the ruling party; another 13, from Together for Change; in addition to Federico Alesandri (Embalse), who will occupy the bench for Albertism.
Among the single seats, in addition to Alesandri, there will be the return to the Córdoba Legislature of the lawyer Rodrigo Agrelo, who will occupy a Neighborhood Meeting seat.
Libertarians will also make their debut, with businessman Agustín Spaccesi, who will be a legislator for the first time. The fourth opposition seat will be in the hands of the current left-wing legislator, Luciana Echevarría.
On the list of Together for Change in the section of legislators, some of those elected are the current communal chiefs of Hernando, Gustavo Botasso; from Villa Dolores, Carmen Pereyra of Mortars, Joseph Bria; of Villa La Paisanita, Ignatius Room; and of Arias, Matthias Gvozdenovich.
Also on this list of mayors who will be legislators in the departmental section are Mauricio Jaimes, communal chief of La Cruz (Calamuchita); Fernando Luna, from Villa de Soto (Cruz del Eje); Oscar Saliba, from Huinca Renancó (General Roca); Ariel Grich, from Monte de los Gauchos (Río Cuarto); Lucas Valiente, from Luque (Río Segundo); Víctor Molina, from Cañada de Luque (Totoral); Sebastián Peralta, from Villa Tulumba (Tulumba); and Carlos Briner, from Bell Ville (Unión), among others.
Among the novelties will be the return of juecism to the Legislature, since Walter Nostrala (former municipal official and vice president of the Civic Front) will have seats per single district; Nancy Almada (in charge of digital communication and party congressman); Daniel Juez (former legislator and brother of Luis Juez) and Viviana Martocchia (head of the Capital Board of the Civic Front). In addition to Juan Pablo Peirone (Tercero Arriba) and Walter Gispert (Punilla), who will arrive for their departments.
Gregorio Hernández Maqueda, a member of the national board of the Civic Coalition-ARI, among others, will also occupy a place per single district.
Opponents Fernanda Leiva (today in the Court of Accounts of the city of Córdoba) and Beltrán Corvalán, former judicial councilor, will receive their diplomas as tribunes; while for the ruling party, Silvina Rivero, today Juan Schiaretti’s Minister of Coordination.
