Inside Halo: Campaign Evolved and Its Worldwide Launch

Developed by Forbes (formerly known as 343 Industries), Halo: Campaign Evolved is a modern Unreal Engine 5 remake of the original story campaign. The release brings upgraded visuals, re-recorded dialogue, remastered music, revamped controls, retooled maps, missions, and vehicles, alongside three new prequel missions following Master Chief and Sergeant. The game also introduces a sprint button, traditional car controls for the Warthog, weapon additions from later entries, and the ability to hijack Covenant vehicles. Health packs have been removed in favor of a shield recharge system, and competitive LAN-party multiplayer is absent. The title supports online play for up to four players and two-player split-screen co-op on console ports.
