Head of Traffic Unit for Pangandaran Police, AKP Asep Nugraha said, entering D+2 of Eid, thousands of visitors filled the queue to enter the main gate in the Pangandaran Beach area and to overcome traffic jams by carrying out traffic engineering to reduce congestion. However, officers directed some vehicles to alternative gates.
“Vehicle congestion occurs in the morning until now and to reduce congestion members of the Pangandaran Police Traffic Unit have divided vehicles entering the main gate and alternative gates. The density at the entrance gate is due to the ticket purchasing process still being done manually so visitors have to queue to get tickets to enter the tourist attraction Pangandaran,” he said, Thursday (11/4/2024)
Based on information, the management of the Pangandaran Beach tourist attraction has implemented an increase in entrance ticket prices per person, including Rp. 20,000 for Pangandaran-Batu Hiu Beach, Rp. 15,000 for Batu Karas-Madasari per person, Rp. 10,000 for Green Canyon per person and Rp. 10,000 for Karapyak Beach. 6,000 per person.
Meanwhile, Head of Ciamis Police Traffic Unit, AKP Ajat Sudrajat, said that most of the homecoming flow from Bandung and Tasikmalaya towards Ciamis Regency towards Pangandaran and Cilacap, Central Java, was mostly visiting relatives and others on holiday at the tourist area at Pangandaran Beach. However, the flow of vehicles passing through Ciamis is dominated by private cars and motorbikes.
“Vehicles from the direction of Tasikmalaya, Bandung to Ciamis in the direction of Banjar, Pangandaran and Cilacap experience congestion, especially at the Sindangkasih T-junction, Cikoneng District, Ciamis Regency, dominated by private vehicles with Jakarta, Bandung and other plates. However, from the direction of Banjar and Ciamis it is busy because members carry out “The flow was diverted through Tasikmalaya City because there was congestion,” he said.
According to him, most of the homecoming flow from Bandung and Tasikmalaya to Ciamis Regency towards Pangandaran, Central Java and East Java will be visiting relatives and others on holiday at the tourist attraction area on Pangandaran Beach. However, private vehicles visiting Pangandaran must queue to enter the main gate.
“The traffic jam going home through Sindangkasih, Cikoneng District towards Pangandaran occurred from 10.00 WIB until afternoon and the conditions were busy and smooth, due to the entry and exit of the Imbinagara gas station.
