Malappuram: A three-and-a-half-year-old boy died in Tirur due to brutal torture, according to a preliminary post-mortem report. The dead Sheikh found bruises and wounds on Siraj’s heart, brain and other internal organs. Mumtaz Begum’s mother has stated that she was beaten by her stepfather Arman. Arman, a stepfather who drowned after the incident, was arrested by the police from Palakkad.
Sheikh Siraj has bruises on his heart and both kidneys. The conclusion is that he was kicked and beaten in the head and body. Armaan drowned when doctors at a private hospital where Sheikh Siraj was admitted became suspicious. The accused is being questioned at the Tirur police station.
