Three members of “Los Cuatreros de la Troncal 16” fall for cattle rustling

The subjects were moving a butchered bovine, of approximately 250 kilograms.

For the alleged involvement in cattle rustling, three subjects were arrested this Monday on a farm in the Cardozo sector of the Angostura del Orinoco municipality.

Agents from the Bolívar State Criminal Investigation Directorate (DIP Bolívar) surprised the men while they were trying to move a cattle, being identified as: N. González, 63 years old; P. Loreto, 54; and J. González, 39 years old.

The perpetrators are part of the gang “Los Cuatreros de la Troncal 16”, dedicated to cattle rustling, robbery and rape, according to a recent report by a DIP Bolívar commission.

The subjects carried a dismembered bovine, weighing approximately 250 kilograms, in a white Chevrolet Express Van model vehicle; said car was seized by the authorities.

The procedure is in the hands of the Public Ministry.
