Three people have died in a severe house fire in a community in Herrljunga municipality.
– A mother and a ten-year-old girl were able to get out, says Göran Carlbom, officer on duty at the police in the west.
A man and two children have died in the fire in the small community in Herrljunga municipality.
The alarm about the fire in the two-story villa came at 01:41.
When the emergency services arrived at the scene, the villa was engulfed in flames.
– It will burn down completely, says Göran Carlbom.
There was a heavy fire on the upper floor and the development of smoke was strong.
They initially concentrated on smoke diving and lifesaving.
– A mother and a ten-year-old girl managed to get out, says Göran Carlbom.

The police: There is no indication that the fire was started
There are no suspicions that the fire was started.
– We don’t know what caused it. We have started a preliminary investigation regarding aggravated arson, but there is nothing to indicate that it was arson, says Göran Carlbom.
At 05:30, the emergency services were still working on extinguishing the scene.
Next of kin are notified.
