“Thrissur Team Conducts Post-Mortem at Thanur Boat Accident: Latest Updates and Analysis”

Thrissur: A team from Thrissur also attended the post-mortem of those who died in the boat accident at Thanur. Immediately following the incident, it was decided to send a team from the district in connection with the post-mortem procedures to be done yesterday morning. Forensic Head of the Medical College Dr. A.K. Unmesh, Associate Prof. Dr. V.K. Rajendra Prasad, Junior Resident Dr. A group consisting of Pratisha Ravi and mortuary assistant Usha reached Tanur.

The team reached the Tirur district hospital at 6 in the morning and by 8:30 the post-mortem process was completed and the body was handed over to the relatives. Post mortem was done on the three dead bodies that were there. Immediately following the accident, Minister K. As per Rajan’s instructions, the NDRF team reached there within hours.

By the time the team from Thrissur arrived, the police had completed all their steps. Although it was announced that six bodies would have to be postmortemed, the bodies of three people were shifted to Manjeri Medical College.
