AreNa Lato – Łap Oddech Festival is an event never seen before in Krakow! The project assumes the presentation of broadly understood art in an interdisciplinary approach, and since art is emotions – we will work, among others, in the space of psychology. The list of artists who will perform on the outdoor stage of TAURON Arena Kraków on September 7, 2024 includes: Artur Rojek, Vito Bambino, LOR, Dziwna Wiosna, Zuta, Chłodno. The AreNa Lato – Łap Oddech Festival project is created to show how multidimensional art and creativity are, diverse, rich, multicolored, with countless levels. Most importantly, its essence is always emotions, which is why we will complement concerts, workshops, vernissages, discussion panels and all artistic activities with content in the field of psychology, awareness and development.
On September 7, 2024, festival events will fill various spaces of TAURON Arena Kraków. There will be outdoor concerts outside, and various artistic activities and workshops will be held inside.
Sound zone – music
As befits a festival, there will be outdoor stages near the arena, where both established artists and young musicians just starting their concert adventure will perform.
The main stage headliners are Artur Rojek i Vito Bambinoand these are just the first names – expect more soon! Agora Music Live on stage you will be able to catch your breath on the wave of sounds of artists cooperating with the Agora Muzyka label! On this smaller stage for young and searching people Lor, Dziwna Wiosna, Zuta and Chłodno will appearand for the finale on the smaller festival stage you will hear a unique one Special Project with great Polish soloists – we’re not revealing anything for now, you’ll get to know the names soon! The festival music zone also includes DJ set sceneinstrument playing workshops and composing workshops.
Art zone: image, speech and gesture
In the festival art zone Guests will be treated to a painting exhibition, meetings with sculpture, visual arts, comics and graphic design workshops.
W speech zone there will be open interviews with artists, songwriting workshops, journalism workshops – writing concert reviews and conducting interviews.
W zone of movement and gestures performative actions, flash mobs and theater activities are planned.
Conscious zone – psychology
Łap Oddech Festival assumes not only the presentation of broadly understood art, but also emphasizing its interdisciplinarity. It assumes the activation of student communities and the inhabitants of Krakow. Musically, we want to create “here and now” projects that will be presented to the general public only once and only here.
An important field of activity is certainly psychology, which we want to “tame” and convince the audience that taking care of mental health is very important and should not be the so-called “an embarrassing issue.” Conversations about mental health are always difficult – during the festival, we want to discuss this topic in a lighter formula, surrounded by sounds, sounds, images, art, using the formula of broadly understood culture, which is itself a generator of emotions.
In the festival psychology zone there will be open interviews with artists regarding mental health, panels on well-being and self-awareness/self-care, art therapy classes – stress-reducing work workshops, bodyworking, yoga, bodywork classes and learning the art of breathing/bodybreathing.
