This is being indulged with a new Tiktok trend, which is leading to numerous complaints from cinema operators, especially in Great Britain: Under #gentleminions, young people are posting videos of themselves dressed in suits cheering and clapping loudly during the film screenings, jumping up from their seats and raising their hands the typical pose like the movie villain Gru.
