On February 4, the school holidays start for four weeks. In ski resorts, where bookings are on the rise, what activities are offered? Example in Thollon-Les-Mémises, in Haute-Savoie, where journalist Carole Guyon unveils the program.
The resort of Thollon-Les-Mémises (Haute-Savoie) is “a family resort located between 1,000 and 2,000 meters above sea level, explains journalist Carole Guyon. 50 km of ski area are spread over fifteen runs.” For ski lifts, “we offer weekend packages for less than 40 euros. And during the holidays, free entertainment will be offered to try out the practice of paret, this hybrid device halfway between skiing and sledding”, she informs.
For the less athletic rather fond of cultural heritage, “you can discover the Abbaye d’Abondance 27 km from the resort. This jewel of Gothic architecture erected in the 13th century is full of works of art. It is a dive into the heart of medieval Savoy open all afternoons to the public at the rate of five euros”, she concludes.
