the television network TNT Sports issued a statement referring to the reasons why it will not broadcast two Primera B matches, accusing that it is due to the repeated schedule changes.
The television network argued that it will not be able to broadcast live the matches of Deportes Puerto Montt against La Serena, and that of Temuco versus San Marcos de Arica, due to last-minute schedule changes.
“After a new arbitrary schedule change scheduled in the last few hours by the national soccer authorities, we are forced to deliver both content deferred at a time to report promptly,” began the announcement.
“This situation occurs again, violating the previously reported schedule agreement, which complicates the logistics of the channel due to the emission limit with other matches of the National Championship and of the same Promotion. Although this situation has occurred repeatedly during the year, we have made efforts to broadcast simultaneous matches of both tournaments.” Add the TV.
In an implicit criticism of the ANFP and the regional authorities, TNT assures that the continuous programming changes affect the logistical work to broadcast all the first division and first B matches, as the channel has promised.
The company added that the “Repeated conduct of continually adjusting the programming that has already been defined on official channels greatly harms the organization and planning carried out weeks in advance of these broadcasts; from logistical to technical aspects. And incidentally, they directly affect the experience of those who, as fans, follow their clubs week after week on our screens”.
“We will once again insist on the will as a means of communication to make ourselves available to those who generate these changes to find more and better solutions in time, which benefit all of us who enjoy our Chilean football,” the statement closed.
These programming changes are added to the one announced on Tuesday, when other Primera B matches were also removed from live broadcasts.
