Rio de Janeiro – Global icon of electric mobility, the Nissan LEAF continues to conquer Brazilians and is about to reach an important milestone in the domestic market. Nissan’s 100% electric car should reach a total of 1,000 units sold in Brazil in the coming weeks. And, to celebrate, the Japanese brand is launching a promotion reinforcing that all LEAF customers are VIPs.
LEAF owners in the country are automatically and free of charge entitled to the Nissan Be LEAF Club, an exclusive benefits program, and several other differentiated services. Now the company wants to give more chance for other customers to enter the world of electrification and be part of this special club. Thus, in an action limited to 30 units for all of Brazil, Nissan will give a special 21% discount on the car’s list price. As part of this celebration, the Nissan LEAF starts at R$235,800, respecting the volume of models available in this promotion.
With 934 units sold in the country since its launch, the Nissan LEAF is already the most sold 100% electric passenger car in Brazil, not including models from luxury brands. And it accelerates towards the important milestone of 1,000 units, taking into account that it is still a new segment in the country. Worldwide, the Nissan LEAF has sold more than 600,000 units.

Nissan LEAF 2023
Launched at the end of July, Nissan’s 2023 100% electric range is distinguished by its front appearance, which includes a new grille shape and front bumper. The headlight styling has also been revised and now features a black interior finish (previously chrome). The five-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels bring a new bold and aggressive design. The model also debuts the new Nissan logo, positioned on the front grille, on the trunk lid, in the center of the wheels and on the steering wheel.
To increase comfort, the Nissan LEAF has a Bose audio system, a premium brand of automotive sound. Another novelty is the intelligent internal rearview mirror, which uses cameras to reproduce images from the rear of the vehicle in the internal rearview mirror with an LCD screen. In this way, seen by the driver, the image is clear, without blind spots or interference from the rear seat headrests, for example.
The charging system located at the front of the vehicle is also new. In addition to ChadeMo, for fast charging, the Nissan LEAF now comes with a type 2 input, the European standard, with seven pins, more common at charging points in Brazil.
Following the concept of the Nissan Intelligent Mobility vision, and thanks to the excellent range and innovative systems, the Nissan LEAF strengthens the Japanese brand’s success in electric vehicles and promotes the expansion of the segment globally. The model is produced in three countries, on three different continents, and is sold in more than 50 markets around the world.
The Nissan LEAF is equipped with a suite of advanced technologies. It has, for example, the innovative e-Pedal, which allows the driver to simplify movements when accelerating, decelerating and stopping the car, as he can only use the accelerator pedal for all these actions – something revolutionary and that represents a new way to drive.
With a modern e-powertrain, the Nissan LEAF offers great energy efficiency through 40 kWh lithium-ion batteries. The set offers a stimulating performance by delivering power equivalent to 150 horsepower (110 kW) and torque of 32.6 kgfm. It’s zero-emission performance. All of this with significant savings on recharging/supplying.
Already to ensure the safety of the occupants, the model comes with the Nissan Intelligent Safety Shield. This intelligent safety shield integrates systems such as: Intelligent Lane Departure Alert, Intelligent Lane Departure Prevention System, Intelligent Emergency Brake Assist, Intelligent Speed Control, Blind Spot Warning System, Intelligent 360° Vision with Detector of Motion, Intelligent Driver Attention Alert, Tire Pressure Monitoring System and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
