On the 26th, EA announced that it has updated the ability to customize pronouns in Create a Sim for ‘The Sims 4’.

Create a Sim is a creative tool in The Sims 4 that allows you to create your own ‘Sim’ in the game. Here, the ability to change pronouns for your Sim has been added. Players can create custom pronouns by entering the nominative, object, possessive, possessive, and reflexive pronouns of the pronoun through Custom.

Currently, the pronoun custom function is only available in the English version, and will be updated to be used in more languages in the future. However, it is unclear whether the same applies to languages with a low percentage of personal pronouns such as Korean.

“Inclusiveness has been a core value for The Sims for over 22 years, and we believe that diversity can inspire innovation in The Sims and advance the community,” said EA. “This first update is a step towards a more inclusive experience for The Sims players.” said
