One of the most famous celebrities in the 17th edition: Harald Glööckler. The 56-year-old designer had his armpits treated with botox before departure. This should prevent the production of sweat. “A lady doesn’t sweat,” Glööckler told the botox appointment «RTL News».

Also included: Lucas Cordalis. And the 54-year-old has one goal firmly in view: He wants to follow in the footsteps of his father, Costa Cordalis. The now deceased pop star won the first season of “I’m a star – get me out of here!” In 2004.

It’s finally that time again: “I’m a star – get me out of here” goes into the 17th round. As of January 21, spectators can look forward to wild animals, disgusting jungle tests and lots of blasphemy around the campfire. This year the famous celebrity camping is not taking place in Australia, but in the wilderness of South Africa.
RTL has now published the final list of stars. A total of twelve more or less known candidates are in the starting blocks, who roll out their sleeping mats in the jungle at the end of January and fight for the coveted crown. You can find out who the new campers are in the photo series above.
Because of Corona, people are camping in South Africa
With the upcoming season of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” the German broadcaster RTL has been moderately lucky so far. The usual implementation in the Australian jungle was relatively quickly off the table due to the corona pandemic and the associated travel regulations, and the alternative production of the TV show in South Africa was suddenly on the brink as a result of the Omicron variant. In the end, however, a decision was made: The jungle camp will go through.
The trash format will again be moderated this year by Sonja Zietlow (53) and Daniel Hartwich (43). Also the crowd favorite Dr. Bob (71) is on site to take care of the RTL jungle stars.
