US Department of Commerce The second estimate for 2Q22 gross domestic product (GDP) contracted 0.6%, better than the first estimate of 0.9%. 60.5% weight on the Fed to raise interest rates 0.75% to 3.00-3.25% at the US Federal Reserve meeting on Sept. 20-21 and weight only 39.5% that the Fed will raise interest rates by 0.50% for the report. The number of US applicants for unemployment benefits fell 2,000 to 243,000, lower than analysts’ estimate of 255,000. The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) had a NET BUY of 666 million foreign investors for its holding. Foreign investors at the end of this week were down 6,254 million baht from 1,033,117 million baht the previous week to 1,026,863 million baht.
