The Tokyo metropolitan government reported 877 new cases of COVID-19 along with two fatalities on the 21st. The bed occupancy rate is at 11.9%. As of the same day, the weekly average number of infections in Tokyo is 635.7, which is 85.4% lower than the previous week. In total, there are 4,330,199 patients in Tokyo, with 144 elderly people aged 65 years old and above. The new cases by age group are as follows: 5 aged 0, 16 aged 1-4, 32 aged 5-9, 75 in their teens, 146 in their 20s, 138 in their 30s, 133 in their 40s, 137 in their 50s, 51 aged 60-64, 31 aged 65-69, 65 in their 70s, 37 in their 80s, and 11 aged 90 and over. The two fatalities were a woman in her 70s and another in her 90s.
