Bruno and Diego hit by a strange illness?
Found unconscious, Bruno Paoletti is hospitalized in a worrying state. Nathan thinks his father started drinking again and went into an alcoholic coma. He is disappointed. But the analyzes soon prove him wrong.
Tests show that Paoletti had not consumed alcohol, drugs or narcotics before driving. Victoire thinks he fell asleep at the wheel, but William, who has already returned to work despite the car accident he suffered, tells his colleague that it is impossible: Paoletti was found three kilometers from the scene of the accident.
Intrigued, William goes to Nathan’s father’s bedside. Bruno explains to her that he hasn’t been feeling well for a few days. He has symptoms that evoke a large sunstroke, but it does not go away despite the pills he may have taken. William looks puzzled.
Bruno then tells his doctor what happened the night of the accident. He felt ill while driving Gilles’ van and wanted to pull over. He lost consciousness then woke up just in time to avoid William’s car. He then drove a few kilometers and fainted again, before regaining consciousness in the ambulance. While they are talking, Bruno has a cardiac arrest. William uses a defibrillator to restart his heart and manages to save his patient.
Shortly after, William informs Nathan and Julie that their father has repeated heart attacks and is now in a coma. Fortunately, the fact that he stopped drinking alcohol saved him from fatal complications. Unaware of what ailment Bruno suffers from, William intends to make him pass a battery of tests to find what he has.
Jack and Rayane decide to return to work at the winery. The two teenagers pretend that they don’t want to let their boss down. Romy is a little surprised, she thinks they should rather take a breather and enjoy their last days of vacation before the start of the school year. But in reality, if Rayane is determined to return to work, it is because he refuses to leave his mother alone there with Victor Brunet.
Rayane later explains to Jack and Diego that he doesn’t trust Brunet and thinks he is definitely responsible for Florence’s death. Diego defends the businessman, he has never seen him behave badly with Florence. Suddenly, Diego feels bad. Rayane gives her some water. Only, during the day, Diego is again taken with dizziness. He sits down in the grass and explains that he is tired, cold, and nauseous. He doesn’t understand why he is in such a state. Concerned, Victor Brunet decides to take him home and advises him to consult a doctor as soon as possible.
William asked Gilles and Alex to come to the hospital. Bruno’s condition is more and more alarming and he wonders if he has not been exposed to toxic products at home or at work. And as Bruno worked on Gilles’ construction site and at Alex’s farmhouse, William tries to find out if the cause of Bruno’s illness could be found there. Alex explains that the workshop of the farmhouse was refurbished in 2020, while Gilles assures that the diagnosis of his house was good.
Back at the Delcourts, Diego continues to feel bad. He has stomach cramps and dizziness. Chloé decides to warn Marianne and advises Diego to go and rest while waiting. But the teenager is unwell and collapses on the ground before he could reach his room.
Soraya and Gabriel about to kiss?
Soraya arrives in a panic at work. She confides to Gabriel that many journalists are already in front of the courthouse and that she is afraid that her client, a woman victim of domestic violence, will be publicly humiliated when the verdict is pronounced. Gabriel tries to reassure her, he is certain that she will win the case. He then brings her a thermos of coffee that he has prepared especially for her for this big day. The lawyer is touched by this delicate attention.
A few hours later, Soraya returns to the office and announces that she has won her case. Gabriel, who was certain that she would succeed, had planned everything. He put a bottle of champagne in the fridge and offers to celebrate it tonight. But since Raphaëlle, who is already taken this evening, will not be able to join them, Soraya suggests that the three of them go to lunch at the restaurant to celebrate her victory. Even though it’s still a little early, Soraya admits that, due to the stress, she is already very hungry. To make her wait, Gabriel offers her his favorite madeleines. He really thought of everything. Raphaëlle, who sees that Gabriel has a crush on Soraya, smiles before leaving the room.
At the end of the day, Soraya is a bit tipsy, she seems to have overindulged in the champagne. As she gets up, she loses her balance and lands in Gabriel’s arms. They seem about to kiss but Soraya, embarrassed, slips away and leaves for some fresh air. For his part, Gabriel goes to have a drink at the Spoon and comes across Noor. He then invites her for a drink. Noor seems delighted.
Gilles advises Judith to leave Sète
Marianne has taken her day off to spend time with Judith, who is feeling down after her breakup with Jordan. She offers him to go spend the day at the spa to relax, but Doctor Delcourt receives a call from work. There is an emergency at the hospital, she has to go there. To keep busy, Judith decides to drive Gilles to his construction site. She finally spends a very good day with her mother’s uncle, who confides in her about his past and his relations with his ex-wives.
At the farmhouse, Alex admits to Chloé that he didn’t see Judith and Jordan’s breakup coming at all. Chloe thinks Judith should take a long vacation and go visit Maxime in San Francisco. It would change his mind. Chloe even considers paying for his plane ticket.
At the end of the day, Gilles, who notices that Judith is in low spirits, advises her to take advantage of her youth to see the world. He thinks she should leave Sète to turn the page after her breakup with Jordan.
