A supreme order was issued to establish the date of birth of all citizens in the middle of the Hijri year, which falls on the first of Rajab of the same year in which the person was born.
The story of unifying their birth on the 1st of Rajab is due to the fact that citizens born many years ago do not know the exact day and month of their birth, but they do know the year in which they were born.
And the civil status indicated that, given the importance of writing down the date accurately because it is related to a number of services, including retirement, a supreme order was issued to establish the date of birth of all Saudis who do not know the exact date of the day and month of their birth in the middle of the Hijri year.
