All Muslims in the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr 1445 H after undergoing 1 month of fasting. This was also done by the family of artist Cinta Laura Kiehl.
A 30 year old woman celebrated Eid al-Fitr with her mother. Even the moment the two of them were performing Eid prayers was also uploaded to Instagram.
“Just pray Eid at home with your favorite angel,” wrote Herdiana Kiehl, Cinta Laura’s mother on Instagram.
However, Cinta Laura and her mother’s Eid prayer moment reaped pros and cons. The reason is, both of them performed Eid prayers at home, not at the mosque.
Netizens then commented on the upload of Cinta Laura’s mother arguing about the artist praying Eid prayers at home.
“The pillars of Eid prayer must have a sermon. Don’t confuse them with tarawih, sunnah or obligatory prayers. Each prayer has its own pillars & conditions.” wrote @bbar***.
“Sunnah prayers, obligatory prayers, everything has guidance in the hadith and the Qur’an, so as Muslims we are required to follow the guidance, don’t make fun of it at will because if you pray not according to the guidance, you are afraid you won’t get a reward…” said @nien*** .
However, there were also those who praised the way Cinta Laura and her mother wore mukenas because they covered their chins and did not show their necks.
