Film Monkey Man apparently inspired by the legend of Hanuman, a figure who embodies strength and courage. Played by Dev Patel, this film tells the story of Kid, a mysterious young man who works in an underground boxing club or fight underground.
While fighting, Kid always wears a gorilla mask and that is what makes him known to many people. He was willing to be beaten black and blue by a stronger fighter to get money. Apparently, there was a reason behind him joining the club.
Kid has a plan to attack the people who took everything from him. Not only that, he also plans revenge against the corrupt ruler who killed his mother and made poor people victims of his greed. Did Kid succeed with his plan? Watch the action starting April 4 2024 at the nearest cinema!
2. The First Omen (4 April)

The First Omen follows the story of the journey of a young American woman named Anna who is sent to Rome to serve the church. He is someone who is religious. However, when he set foot there, he was haunted by a series of terrible events.
While in Rome, Anna was surrounded by darkness and was often followed by black crows. Every step felt very heavy there. Even so, that didn’t dampen his curiosity to investigate what really happened to him. In the midst of his investigation, he discovers a terrible thing in the church that threatens the birth of the Antichrist.
Will Anna be able to stop this evil conspiracy? Those of you who are curious about the continuation of the story can follow Anna’s story in the cinema on April 4 2024.
3. Badarawuhi in Penari Village (10 April)

Film Badarawuhi in Penari Village which is planned to be broadcast on April 10 2024 tomorrow spin-off from the movie KKN in Penari Village. Through this film, the audience will be invited to get to know more about Badarawuhi, a charming and terrifying dancer. This will also continue the story of Nur, Ayu, Bima, and the others.
Badarawuhi is known as the snake demon who controls Penari Village. Every time students visited the village, he did not hesitate to disturb them and invite them to get ‘trapped’ in his world. As a result, students have to face endless horrific incidents. The only way to survive is to leave the village.
4. Torment of the Grave (April 10)

The story Torment of the Grave focuses on Sita and her parents. After the death of her parents due to a suicide bombing, Sita no longer believed in religion. Since that incident, he has been looking for the most sinful person.
The plan was, when the person died, he wanted to go into his grave. He did this to prove that the torture in the grave that he often heard about did not exist. As a human who doesn’t believe in supernatural things like that, of course there are consequences waiting for him.
This film is directed by Joko Anwar and is scheduled to be broadcast simultaneously on April 10 2024 in all Indonesian cinemas. Torment of the Grave is the latest polish of the short film Grave Torture which was also made by Joko Anwar in 2012. The story is about the son of a serial killer who accidentally gets into his father’s coffin. The child also had to witness the torture of his father for the sins he had committed in the world.
5. Suga | Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE MOVIE (10-13 April)

Only broadcast for three days, namely 10-13 April 2024, Suga | Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE MOVIE will be broadcast simultaneously globally. This film is a documentary that shows every moment of Suga BTS’s concert, from preparation to appearance on stage.
In the trailer footage, other BTS members are seen at Suga’s encore or final concert in Seoul, South Korea on August 4-6 2023. 6. Civil War (12 April)
Civil War is another film directed by Alex Garland, a director known for his works Ex Machina and Annihilation. Starring Kirsten Dunst, Cailee Spaeny, Wagner Moura, and Stephen McKinley Henderson, audiences hope that this film can exceed their expectations and be memorable.
Civil War tells the story of a team of journalists who travel across the United States during the second American Civil War where the situation is very heated. They collected various actual information related to the war. The reason is, the war took many lives and huge material losses.
This film is scheduled to be shown on April 12 2024 in all cinemas in the country. Add more Civil War produced by studio A24, a studio known for its stunning cinematography. Through this spectacle, viewers will see the truth revealed by journalists and see how bad the impact of war is on society.
7. Two Blue Hearts (April 17)

Two Blue Hearts is a sequel film Two Blue Lines which is planned to air on April 17 2024. Still being worked on by director Gina S Noer, this film tells the story of Bima and Dara becoming parents. However, Dara’s character was replaced by Aisha Nurra Datau, replacing Adhistya Zara.
When Dara flew to South Korea to pursue her dreams, Bima was the one who took care of Adam, their child, from infancy to 5 years old. Until finally Dara came home and took care of Adam, but he seemed a stranger to his son.
A new conflict between Bima and Dara as parents begins. Will Dara succeed in getting close to Adam, her child who has never seen him since he was a baby?
8. Challengers (26 April)

This sports-themed film with a romantic comedy genre was directed by Luca Guadagnino. Story Challengers centers on the story of Tashi Duncan (Zendaya), a tennis player who turns to coaching after a serious injury. She becomes the coach of her husband, Art (Mike Faist), a Grand Slam champion whose abilities are declining.
To restore his former glory, Tashi enlists her husband to take part in the tournament challenger, which means Art has to face Patrick (Josh O’Connor), Art’s former best friend and Tashi’s ex-lover who was once a talented tennis player. However, who would have thought that this would make Tashi trapped in a love triangle again.
Patrick, who still has a grudge against the two of them, sees his opportunity wide open through this tournament. He is determined to defeat Art and win Tashi back to his side. Did he succeed in defeating Art and taking Tashi or vice versa? You can find the answer in cinemas starting April 26 2024.
