Top Cut-Off Marks for Medical and Health Sciences Degrees at University of Castilla-La Mancha: 2023-2024 Admissions

The degree in Medicine, with a mark above 13.2 both on the Albacete and Ciudad Real campuses, once again marks the highest cut-off mark at the University of Castilla-La Mancha. This is clear from the results that the UCLM has published on its Transparency portal. In Ciudad Real it marks 13,215 and in Albacete 13,207.

It should be noted that last year, 2022-2023, in Albacete it stayed at 13.23 and in Ciudad Real at 13.27. For the second consecutive year, the cut-off mark in Medicine drops slightly in both faculties, but by a matter of tenths. Two exercises ago, in both the 13.4 was reached.

The data has just been released by the Castilla-La Mancha university, in the Pre-registration Guide for students new to the degree. And, for yet another year, the Health Sciences titles mark the highest cut-off marks.

Behind Medicine, the Health Sciences degree that once again marks the highest cut-off mark is Nursing, on the Albacete campus, with 11,929, somewhat below the 12.1 marked last year.

The note to enter these studies in the rest of the campus also remains high. In Ciudad Real it is 11,808; in Toledo of 11.65; in Cuenca it is 11.373 and in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) it is 11.38.

Psychology, 11,499

The Psychology degree, which has been offered as a novelty since September on the Albacete campus, marks a cut-off mark of 11,499. The rector of the UCLM, Julián Garde, recently indicated that they had received 670 applications for the 50 places in this grade.

The degree in Pharmacy, which is offered on the Albacete campus, has a cut-off mark of 10,879, somewhat below the 11,606 marked last year, as can be seen from the comparison between the documents of the first admission to Pharmacy studies. the UCLM in July last year and this month.

Chiropody

On the Talavera de la Reina campus, the double degree in Nursing-Podiatry has a cut-off mark for the next academic year 2023-2024 of 11,397, while in the degree in Podiatry it is 9,628. In both cases there is a slight decrease in the cut-off mark over the last course.

The degrees of Health Sciences continue, therefore, to be ‘expensive’ in their access in terms of grades. Lucky that at least the UCLM is among the five cheapest universities in the country. And, once inside, students will have to face lower tuition prices than in neighboring communities.

It is important to remember that the cut-off mark is marked by the mark on the record of the last student who has obtained a place in each of the titles.
